StoryCorps is a national project that encourages us to listen to each other by sharing the stories of our lives with the people we love. By recording our stories, StoryCorps helps us celebrate our history, hopes, and humanity and brings us closer together as families and as a nation.

Record a conversation with someone you care about, take home a free CD, and have a copy archived at the Library of Congress. Listen to excerpts of interviews via NPR, the podcast, or at StoryCorps online.
